Reception children from St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Coundon enjoyed a wonderful educational visit to Hall Hill Farm this week as part of their early learning experiences. During the visit, the children had the opportunity to pet and feed a variety of farm animals, giving them a close‑up look at life on a working farm. Pupils also learned about the important role of farmers, helping them understand where food comes from and how animals are cared for.
Year 4 pupils from St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Coundon recently enjoyed another exciting opportunity to take part in a hands‑on science lesson at St John’s Catholic School and Sixth Form in Bishop Auckland. During the visit, the children took part in a range of practical science activities, exploring scientific ideas in an engaging and enjoyable way. The pupils showed great enthusiasm throughout the session and enjoyed applying their learning in a new environment using resources available at the secondary school.
