Our pupils had an unforgettable experience at Durham University Theatre, where they immersed themselves in the world of William Shakespeare. The day began with an engaging workshop led by the talented Elysian Theatre Company. Together, the children brought Macbeth to life through dynamic group performances, developing key skills in communication, oracy, and stagecraft.
After the workshop, we explored the fascinating William Shakespeare exhibition. The highlight? Seeing an original First Folio—a rare and historic collection of Shakespeare’s works!
This enriching experience not only deepened our pupils’ understanding of literature but also sparked creativity and confidence that will stay with them for years to come.
