Our school was filled with colour, creativity, and culture as we celebrated Spanish Day! This special event strengthened our links with our partner school in Estepona, Spain. Pupils enjoyed creating postcards, cards, and letters to send to their friends overseas – each one filled with warm greetings and a big ¡Hola amigos!

The day was packed with exciting activities. We explored the work of the famous Spanish artist Joan Miró, and pupils had a fantastic time recreating his vibrant and imaginative style. To add a taste of Spain, everyone sampled delicious paella, which proved to be a big hit!

Throughout the day, pupils practised their Spanish speaking and listening skills – from simple greetings to short conversations – making language learning fun and interactive.

It was a wonderful celebration of Spanish culture, creativity, and connection. ¡Qué día fantástico!
