Reception children from St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Coundon enjoyed a wonderful educational visit to Hall Hill Farm this week as part of their early learning experiences.

During the visit, the children had the opportunity to pet and feed a variety of farm animals, giving them a close‑up look at life on a working farm. Pupils also learned about the important role of farmers, helping them understand where food comes from and how animals are cared for.

The visit provided valuable hands‑on learning, allowing children to explore, ask questions and build confidence in a real‑world setting. Experiences like this help to bring classroom learning to life and support children’s curiosity and understanding of the world around them.

At St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Coundon, we are proud to offer enriching opportunities beyond the school gates that support children’s development and create memorable learning experiences.
